Wawanesa’s Executive Office is located on Treaty 1 territory—the traditional land of the Anishinaabe (Ah-nish-ih-nah’-beg), Ininew (ee-ne-new), Anis-Ininew (anis-ee-ne-new), Dakota and Dene Nations as well as the homeland of the Red River Métis (Mey-tee).
