Canada Post strike update

Things to know as we return to normal operations

As reported in the media, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers have been ordered to return to work as of Tuesday, December 17. Wawanesa has been holding all documents that would have normally been sent via Canada Post since the strike began on November 15. We will now be putting these items in the mail but please be aware it may take time to catch up and get documents to members in a timely manner. We understand you are in a similar position.

Payments can be made electronically:

  • Online on our website by credit card. We accept:
    • Visa and Visa Debit
    • MasterCard and MasterCard Debit
    • American Express
  • Through your financial institution via telephone or electronic banking
