Wawanesa Life partners with Opifiny Corp to streamline collection of medical information collection for disability claims, individual life policies

Winnipeg MB, September 19 – To provide more efficient service for their valued members, Wawanesa Life is partnering with Opifiny Corp to streamline the collection of medical information from physicians and paramedical service providers. Opifiny Corp is an online platform that modernizes and simplifies the process of gathering medical information. By using Opifiny, health care professionals can access, respond to, and process medical requests easily from any device.

Whether it is for a disability claim or an application for a new policy, there is often frequent communication between Wawanesa Life and the medical community. Wawanesa Life will leverage the Opifiny platform for gathering medical information and assessments on disability claims. Wawanesa Life’s Individual Insurance line of business will utilize the Opifiny platform to capture medical charts and reports and reduce the overall time to underwrite a policy.
