Wawanesa Broadens Digital Channels For Brokers
WINNIPEG, MB August 7, 2018 – The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, the largest Canadian Property and Casualty Mutual insurer, is enhancing its commitment to innovative technology by deploying new BluePass software that will make it easier and more efficient for brokers to do business with the company.
The intuitive, graphic-based BluePass tool is accessed via a portal and seamlessly connects a broker with an underwriter using Guidewire InsuranceSuite™, Wawanesa’s platform that supports policy, claim and billing management for Property and Casualty insurance.
Both solutions are part of Wawanesa’s ongoing strategic systems renewal project to improve its customer experience, strengthen its broker relationships, and remove obstacles created by older legacy systems.
BluePass has numerous benefits including:
- Faster, more accurate transactions and instant documentation;
- Real-time validations that minimize entry issues; and
- Increased online billing functionality.
Following a successful pilot in Alberta with several insurance brokers, BluePass is rolling out to the rest of Wawanesa’s broker partners in the province and will be included with Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ implementations across the country, beginning with British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba later this year.
