This is provided by private auto insurance companies and covers:
- Damage to your vehicle
- Civil liability: In the event you are held responsible for causing harm to others including property damage and bodily injury
Accident Benefits may be increased from the amounts provided by SAAQ. Talk to your broker to find out more.
In addition to your licensed insurance broker, more information about mandatory auto coverage in Québec can be found on the Insurance Bureau of Canada website.
Optional Coverages
Depending on your unique auto coverage needs, you have options. We recommend discussing these with your insurance broker to arrange coverage best suited to your needs.
“All Perils” Coverage
