Established in 1998, Green Teal Insurance has grown to become a full-service independent insurance brokerage with offices in Nokomis and Drake. A cornerstone of its brokerage culture is to provide exceptional service to the community—they hold informational seminars, deliver Meals on Wheels, raise funds for local organizations and once hosted the local food bank in their building.
This commitment extends to the team’s personal time. Each team member is involved in various initiatives—including coaching local sports teams, volunteering for the Nokomis Agricultural Society Fair and serving on the Nokomis Health Foundation Board.
Green Teal also looks for opportunities to educate the community about insurance. One such example happened after the town experienced a small tornado on a Friday night. The Green Teal team jumped swiftly into action the following Monday, hosting a customer appreciation day outside the affected area to educate clients on the devastating impacts of a natural disaster.
As one of Wawanesa’s “Going the Extra Mile” recipients, Green Teal is directing its $10,000 donation to the Nokomis Recreation Centre.
