The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company (herein referred to as "Wawanesa Insurance" or "the P&C insurer") adopted the Insurance Bureau of Canada Model Personal Information Code on July 21st, 1998. This is the policy which Wawanesa Insurance has established as the basis of its compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada). The protection of your personal information is important to us. This policy sets out how we collect, use and disclose the personal information of our Customers, whether they be applicants, insureds, former insureds or claimants (including those who are not our insureds).
